Halifax-based Sandpiper Ventures has completed the final close for its first fund, securing more than $10 million CAD and bringing its total raised to “just over” $20 million—meeting its initial target.
ProcedureFlow, a Saint John-based software-as-a-service company, announced this week that it had raised $11.8-million, with investments from the Canadian Business Growth Fund, the New Brunswick Innovation Fund, and Halifax-based venture capital firm Sandpiper Ventures.
Today, Sandpiper Ventures announced its investment in Begin AI, an Artificial Intelligence start-up based in Halifax that makes it possible to build proprietary human first technology without servers or data storage, using algorithms that learn users’ preferences in real time.
