About Swiftsure
Swiftsure Innovations produces Complete Care System for preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). The Complete Care System consists of an innovative endotracheal tube (ETT) and a daily oral care kit. The Complete Care System aims to prevent VAP by allowing nurses to conduct proper nasal and oral irrigations. Swiftsure Innovations is patent pending for a Class II (510K) exempt medical device that enables safe oral irrigation of patients receiving critical care.
About Swiftsure’s founder
Deanne brings her experiences as a critical care nurse to develop medical a device geared toward improving oral hygiene in intensive care. Previously, Deanne completed a BBA from Memorial University of Newfoundland. As the CEO, Deanne has built an excellent team and advisory committee to support product development, regulatory, business development, and Swiftsure’s IP portfolio. Deanne is passionate about providing Registered Nurses with the resources they need to do their jobs effectively and is equally enthusiastic about improving outcomes for patients and reducing hospital costs.
